Horse Death

Your horses do not get "sick," however they do get old. All horses will eventually die of old age complications.

  • Death will be random, and can occur on any day during the month starting at age 18.
  • The average game bred or starter horse will live until around age 22. Some will die sooner and some will live much longer.
  • The older a horse is, the greater likelihood they will pass away.
  • There is nothing you can do to help your horse live longer.
  • You will receive an email notice when a horse in your stable passes away, and the horse will be removed from your stable.
  • When a horse has passed away in the heading of the horse's information page, the owner will be indicated as "Deceased."
  • To help predict the likelihoood of how long a game bred or starter horse will live, please refer to the following chart.
